You need a comma after "wine." And change "a cake" to the "the cake." Do those two things, and it will be correct.
Some folks might say your second sentence is bad because it's not a complete sentence. But this sounds like a casual note from one friend to another, so I wouldn't worry about that. If you really want to correct it, then do this:
Everything was so elegant—the food, wine, flowers and even the cake! It was so thoughtful of you.
Also, I'm not sure why you say "even the cake." It implies you weren't expecting the cake to be elegant. Is that what you're going for? Maybe what you want to say is this:
Everything was so elegant—the food, the wine, the flowers. You even had a cake! It was so thoughtful of you.
