What are the consequences for having your probation revoked on a Felony Financial Instrument charge?
I noticed my ex had her probation revoked with the powers of the internet (maybe she didn't pay her fine in time, i don't know) and i'm just curious as to what the consequences are. She watches my kids sometimes so I need to know how serious it is. Her probation was for 3 years and she was only a year into it.
Had to clarify since Mikey made a comment. This paticular ex is actually the mother of my kids.... don't want to look like a complete moron. :)

Mikey says you might see her on the next episode of Prison break.
Probation was in Lieu of going to jail and she broke that. Doubt she will get a second chance. they can and most likely will put her in jail for the remainder of the original sentence.
Better look for a babysitter.

Find a babysitter to have on standby. Your needing her for childcare is a good defense and you should use it even if you have to BEG and make it known to the judge it should help her, but she would really be walking on thin ice if she screws up again. The prosecutor may decide to file a complaint put her back in jail. If this happens, she'll be served with the complaint and given a date to appear in court to answer it. (SHE BETTER APPEAR).
In most states, a court has several options after finding that someone has violated the terms of probation. The court can impose any sentence that could originally have been imposed for the crime originally committed, including jail. The court could also re-sentence her to probation, even on the same terms as before. Or it might re-sentence the probation but increase the severity of the conditions of probation, such as putting her in a half-way house or placing her on home detention or in an intensive supervision program. It's ok to leave your kids with a felon, most people do not realize that "felons" cover a wide range of crimes that are not murderers, molestors or violence of any kind.
It will be her last chance, I have seen some people get 25 years for something minor because they did not learn the first time. GOOD LUCK
