Is Marshall Law really going to happen or even have a chance of happening?

Marshall law is when the president and military take over. FEMA is pretty much in charge also. All your Constitutional rights and everything in the Bill of Rights is void. pretty much no more freedom.

supposedly some people in the government were saying that if the bailout plan wasn't passed things would get so bad that we would need marshall law. They had to threaten something to get it passed or else they wouldn't have been able to help their pals on wall street and the banks.

I heard someone in the media saying that with this financial crisis going on we could have hyper inflation. That means it would take a box full of cash just to buy some bread. And stores would run out of food. Pretty much the same thing that's happening in Zimbabwe right now. If it ever really got that bad, there probably would be marshall law because there would be chaos in the streets.

I sure hope it doesn't get that bad.

It's martial law, not marshall. We have not had martial law since forever, why would you think that it would be instituted nationwide? Even in the worst of riots from whatever side, there has only been sporadic and very localized martial law.
