Do I have grounds to sue?
I just opened a can of "Western Family Whole Kernel Corn" and there is no corn in the can, but a can full of green beans instead. Do I have grounds for some sort of legal action?

I would. Tell the court you were tramitized as a kid by green beans, and it scarred you for life. Say your daddy was harvesting his bean crop and was mulled by a heard of mean eating bean black crows.

that had to of been as good as suing....

That's got to be worth about a buck or less.
And you want to spend $100,000+ suing somebody about it.
You may have grounds for a suit, but the Judge would look at you like you had 2 heads if you did.

No. You certainly have grounds to get a refund from the store, or from "western family", but that is it (if you are refused a refund, I suppose that you could sue for the purchase price, but at what cost?).

For the love of God. It is stupid people like ^^^ who jam up the court system with stupid non-sense lawsuits! When you opened it, you saw what it was. Therefore, if you ate it and knew you were not suppose to, stupidity does not work!
Call the company and get a refund!

only if you are DEATHLY allergic to green beans ... or maybe you could sue on the grounds of false advertising, but they could easily counter that with "it was an accident"
