The question is:
"Imagine you had a leaky faucet. How could you find the volume of one drop of water, using only a 100-milliliter graduated cylinder?"
Probably an easy question, yeah, but i feel sickish and my brain hurts D:

well, 1 milliliter is equivalent to 1 cubic cm in volume, so leave the cylinder under the faucet for a few minutes, counting the number of drops, so hypothetically lets say you end up with:
50 drops, and the cylinder is 30 ml full.
convert:
30 ml = 30 cm^3 then divide that by the number of drops :)

Place the cylinder under the faucet and count the number of drops until the water reaches a convenient milliliter level, then divide the level by the number of drops to get the milliliters per drop.

um, both answers up there will not give a definite answer because if you count how many drops till 100, chances are not all the drops are the same size... and u cant read 1 drop on a cylinder
hmmm lemme think what you can do.
the density of water is like 1.
so all u gotta do is know Denisity D=massM/ volumeV
so to get volume u just do V=M/D
so u need to weight it then divide its mass by its density and VOILA!

i guess counting the drop per minute works =D

Count however many drops it took to fill it to 100ml then divide 100 by the number of drops it took to find the volume of each drop.

okay, you count how many drops going in and how much that fills up to, then divide the volume at the end with the number of drops u were able to count, it will give you the volume of one drop of water

The question is asking you to explain what you understand about how brain is structured. You probably know, a brain is not made of just one kind of tissue, and it is just one big blob. You probably know, there are left side and the right side, and they are connected. Within this left side and right side, there are front area that are responsible for certain functions. You probably also learned, there are outer area and inner area, then there is a part that connects to the spinal column. Each of these parts have specific functions. Brain tissues are made up of certain kind of cells and they connect in certain way with each other. Put what you know together in your own words.

well, first measure how many drops per minute, then let the water drip into the Graduated cylinder for one minute, after that, measure the water lvl and then divide by how many drips there where in one minute
that SHOULD give you a general answer

take a drop of water, count the water molecules in it, then multiply the number of molecules by the weight of one molecule. Mission accomplished.

fill 1mL and see how many drops it takes. then divide that # by 1. it would be like .2034928 or whatever. haha. i made number that up, but yeah.
