I need some help here! About birth control...?

I just started taking birth control again (I skipped a month) and in the first week I missed three pills, and this is my second week and I missed two again. My husband and I have been having sex pretty regularly. So, I know I could be pregnant, there is a pretty big risk, but should I stop taking the pills just in case? Would it harm my baby if I kept on taking them? If we're pregnant we'll be happy, of course, we just weren't planning on it.

P.S. I know I was stupid for missing so many, so no mean comments please!

Update:

I just started my period because I stopped the pills completely, so does that mean I can't get pregnant this month? And if so do I start another pack? How does stopping the pills effect my ovulation?

Yes, you should stop taking the pills. Not only for the risk of being pregnant but because you have missed so many pills.

I am currently on a birth control called Mirena. It lasts 5 years. And works beautifully. I am having sex about ever 3 days. And still not pregnant. The good the about Mirena is if you decide you want to have a baby. At ANY time you can just go to the Dr they take it out and you can have a baby when ever.

but here is the site. Review it before doing it and talk to ur dr about it.

Stop taking them and use barrier methods just in case you are not pregnant. If you have your period then maybe consider getting a contraceptive implant, they can last for 3 years, and your fertility returns instantly as soon as you have it removed if you decide to start trying for a baby.

stop taking them in case and resume taking them next month...just to be safe.
