I can't type anything into my PSP!? READ DESCRIPTION!?

Whenever I try to type something and the text entry thing opens up, the characters keep switching like I'm holding the SELECT button...I'm not...I just got my PSP used, supposedly working great.

What's the problem?!

    You should go to google and look it up. Always buy new things instead of used.
