I don't know where Obama gets his stats, but most small companies out there make more than or have more value than $250k, so Obama is turning America socialist by "spreading the wealth". Has anyone considered the fact that if you tax the hell out of the producers of thsi country, these people might just stop producting ? Why should the lazy, the uneducated sluffs of society be "given" money ?

On the other hand, McCain keeps saying for the Government to buy up bad mortgages and renegotiate for the lower value. And who makes up the difference ? The tax payer. I have paid my mortgage, i did it myself, I wasn't so dumb I didn't know what an "adjustable" mortgage was, and Paid a few more thousand to refinance for better conditions. Now i have to pay as a taxpayer for some idiot that couldn't be responsible enough to get his financial act together ?

Socialism sux, it fails and it costs us more and more.

The only thing that tips the balances for me is Obama ended in saying that all must sacrifice to put America back on track.

WE have sacrificed enough. We sacrifice in paying taxes, supporting Medicaid, Medicare, Social Security, Government , corruptoin and greed made this mess, we shouldn't have to "tighten our belts" to get them out of the mess they caused.

Obama lied about 98% of small companies making less than $250k, and his "spread the wealth" idea comes straight from the mouth of marxism.

mccain. obama didn't know anything tonight. he was quick to say nothing new.
