Why is McCain so proud of the fact that he has spent his entire life living off the taxpayer?

He stated many times in his speeches that he has always worked in the service of his country. In other words, receiving his salary from the government

What is your question? How can anyone explain why he is proud, it is a personal matter.... unless you are just a whiner ranting about McCain?!? There are over a million people who recieve checks from local and federal governments for paychecks... and God knows how many dead-beats (democrats) on welfare and unemployment. Get the losers off the government teat and then we will probably have less people on government paychecks. Go vote for Obama and quit yer whining.

It does appear that way from the armed forces to congress, he's been taking countless taxpayer funds to save afloat. It makes you ask your self basically how lots of a clue someone who has continually labored for the government could have about what to do with our failing economic equipment, or for that count wide variety, in the event that that they had understand one thing about what to do with company united states, the failing very own loan disaster, the deficit...

Hey, dumbazz, get your slime ball hands on a dictionary and look up the word "dolt." That would be a perfect way to decsribe anyone who would think that being in the military and getting elected to office is somehow a bad thing. So tell us, Skippy, what branch of the service were you in and how much action did you see, or are you just another one of those liberal pukes who likes to complain and whine while taking us down the path to socialism? I've got another word for you: go up to someone who has actually served their country and ask them what "pogue" means.

McCain has served our country as a soldier, representative, and Senate. He has an outstanding record and testimony. He put his life on the line for you and me. Yes he has been paid by the taxpayers.

Obama has served as an community organizer with ACORN served in state senate and Senate. His record is questionable. Yes he has been paid by the taxpayers.

What about all the welfare people who have been on welfare their entire life, their children are on welfare and their children are on welfare. Yes they are been paid by the taxpayers, also.

But now Obama wants take more money from us working class and give to these welfare hanger ons. Generation after generation.

So now being a Senator and working for the government is a bad thing? Last time I checked Obama was a Senator too.

He should be proud of the work he's done and you're a jerk for twisting this into something it's not. I'd rather have my tax dollar go to someone like him than to most of those receiving "entitlements".

Actually he has spend a good part of his life living off Cindy's money. He would not enjoy the lavish lifestyle he has if he only lived on his government salary. That is why he is able to indulge in being a politician for life instead of having to go to work in the private sector.

Why is recieving a salary from the government a bad thing? Or are you an anarchist?

  • 1 decade ago

At least he worked and didn't expect a free ride like some who are on welfare..generation after generation.

That is really rude. So, you like to bash the troops?

Edit: I'd like to see you say that to someone in the service. I doubt you would.
