How much would I advertise my car for?
I have a 1972 Chevrolet Corvette Stingray coupe with the following:
350 cubic inch base V8 motor
4 speed transmission
Air conditioning
Deluxe leather interior
Power windows
CD/mp3/iPod sound system (however I still have the original AM/FM stereo player in storage)
37,500 original miles
I just recently upgraded the ignition system with a MSD electronic ignition system. It runs perfectly and starts every time. It has been repainted once in 1991 with the original paint colour (Mille Miglia red). I have owned it since 2000 (my dad was the original owner and gave me the car when he died). I have all invoices showing any work done on it. I have had it rated by the classic car association here as a 2+ condition car. It would be a number 1 (show car) however I use it as a driver in the summer time. I store it heated storage every winter, it has never seen rain nor snow.
What could I sell something like this for if I needed the money ASAP, ie. sell within a couple weeks or so.
Thanks for your help

The first thing I'd do is throw away that aftermarket stereo and replace it with the stock unit. Collectors look for original equipment.
This is basically a low miles one owner vintage 'vette and the prices are soaring for these cars. Spend a little money on a thorough detail and get the car back to original as much as possible and you could be looking at $50k or more at the right auction.
DO NOT sell this car in the local Autotrader or Craigslist. This car deserves a high profile collectors car auction. You'll be shocked at what you might be able to fetch for this ride if it is all you say it is.
ASAP is something you should NEVER say when trying to sell a collector car. It's all about being in the right place at the right time and waiting for the right offer to come along.

You may not be alone but you have very few friends. The two are not comparable at all. Cars are very useful devices that we really do need. Cigarettes are just drug delivery devices that really have no socially redeeming value. And cars are NOT the major cause of global warming, even though that is what most people on this forum seem to seize on. Coal fired power plants are a major source. I would think trucks, trains, buses, airplanes and ships are major contributors too. Do you want to bad airline ads? Cruise ship ads? Are you a communist? Do you want to kill all non-believers? That is the kind of attitude I see from you. You feel you are right beyond any chance of being wrong and so want to force the whole world to do it your way. This is what the Khmer Rouge did; they killed people who refused to give up their city homes and grow rice by hand like the they should have!

I dont know why you want to sell it in a hurry, but that is probably a mistake.
One thing for sure, IF YOU MUST SELL IT RIGHT AWAY put it up for sale right now.
You will soon be in the worst time of year to try to peddle a toy like that.
