Decision between 10" or 12" subs for Dodge Ram quad cab?

Im finally getting the subs I want.I cant decide between 10" or 12" subs.Im getting the boston Acoustics G5 series...Both are designed to operate in small spaces. The 10 inch model requires .50 cuft of airspace and the 12 " require 1.0 cuft each.I did find a custom built enclosure for both sizes however the largest one I could find for 12's was 1.8 cuft and one single chamber. Both subs will share the airspace.1.8cuft is only a tad off from the rquired 2.0 cuft.Im just wondering which sub will sound better.Has anyone who owns a dodge ram quad cab had any luck with 12" installs?Which do you think?I like bass but more concerned for clarity, accuracy and so forth. All of my other components are high quality for clarity from Alpine,CDT and Old Rockford Amps...around the 90's.All my wiring are Rockford wires(RCA's,power, etc).I spent a decent amount of money.I just want to be happy with my subs performance.Any suggestions?Advice from experienced audiophiles not from wanna be bass heads who like to say "my sh*t is louder than yours".

I have built around 20 custom boxes for ram's and I think my best install for pure quality was a guys 02. He had two 10" directed audio (the same guys who make viper alarms)sxd410's. I think I got 1.2 cubes total and it was surprising how well the handled everything from rap to rock. 12's in most cases do hit a little lower but need that airspace. With 1.8 to work with the .2 should not hurt the quality that much. Just use some polyfill to stuff the box. Stuffing it makes the speaker respond as if the box was bigger. I know it sounds butt backwards but its true. If you want that punch go with the 10's but if you want that boom go with the 12's. I hope I could help. Let me know what you decide.
