Atheists: Many of you dislike Christians; some even expresses apathy for them...?

I dislike any person of faith who tries to force me through legislation to adhere to their non-secular standards and dogma.

Oh, you *have* to stop redefining words based on nonsensical quotes...apathy is not worse than hate, nor the opposite of love.

I don't hate anyone. And there are very few *people* that I dislike -- the few that I do, I dislike because they have wronged me in some way, not because of what superstitious, nonsensical ideas they may have in their heads.

I very much dislike what religion -- and fundamentalist christianity in particular -- does TO people. It makes them stop thinking rationally, it makes them ignore evidence, it turns their lives into wishful fantasies instead of reality, and it often causes them to start hating others who don't believe as they do. So the christian *theologies* (not people) that I dislike the most are those that flat-out lie to their followers and those that encourage division and intolerance.

Fair enough?

*Dislike* the most? Probably the same type that most Christians dislike as well. The more bigoted, intolerant, simple-minded ones. The invincibly ignorant; those who believe entirely based on emotion, who disregard facts, and believe in an irrational and stubborn absolute system of morality that happens to coincide with their own wishes.

The ones who try to justify their outlandish beliefs with hilariously inaccurate science, rather than just accept the fact that they are operating on faith alone.

The homophobic bigots who think it's perfectly okay to suppress the rights of others because they disagree about a particular lifestyle.

I don't dislike xtians. I dislike fundamentalists. I do have apathy for them. I have apathy towards all religion and it's followers. Apathy isn't hate.

Young Earth Creationists. Someone who lives in a fantasy world where Adam and Eve rode to church on a dinosaur is always potentially dangerous.

The ones that continually preach at me and don't even bother trying to listen to my point of view. Also the ones who are homophobic. And the ones who encourage their children to follow the same religion and oppressive beliefs. And the ones who called me daughter of satan because I have ancient egyptian symbols tattooed on my back. And the ones who 'converted' my best friend so she disowned us and her family because we were "really satan in disguise". The list is endless.

Apathy is worse than dislike?

I like all of you, you all have your own way of voicing your beliefs, even those who try to project their beliefs on others are respected by the Luciferi.

They are strong.

Its those who show weakness and follow blindly who I do not dislike, but do not understand. Surely you realise your true potential? why then do you choose to ignore it?

The kind that is basically a deist... you know, thinks the bible is a myth, just metaphorical and not historically accurate, etc. And those that believe in evolution (a surprising amount).
