weeks and my partner whos in her early 40s keeps giving excuses any suggestions ?

or experiences similar its been 8weeks now that my partner keeps finding excuses for us not to get together . Always returns my call and it happened that 1 time i text messaged she claimed to forget her phone at her girlfriends then she said maybe tonight then cancels and says shes too tired and makes another date and backs out with a legitimate excuses .She has a list of excuses I asked if she met someone she claims no that its work and family .any suggestions or life experiences to share a point of view, we have been dating with no promises for 2 years now.

I care and dont know what to say she said things should calm down in the near future ....any opinions would help

    It's up to you to decide what you want. She may be being honest or she may be trying to goad you into breaking up or she may just be that unreliable or unstable.

    While I understand that which of those reasons it is matters, in the end, how much of this you want to put up with is what matters most. If you can deal with 2 months apart at a time, great. If not, you may want to move on no matter the reason.

    But certainly not without discussing your feelings with her about this. Personally, I always had a 1-year limit to date before making some serious promises, but whatever your limits are - communicate them to her.

    tell her that you really need to talk about this. Even busy ,eight weeks is a huge amount of time to not get together. I'm in a LDR and we don't go 8 weeks w/o getting together.

    why don't you straight out ask her if she wants to break up? it looks pretty likely...
