Anyone out there who seriously thinks McCain has a chance? ?
I'd like to know and tell me why.
Let me lay this out for you. Here are the states that show that Obama has double digit leads. (10 or more points)
CA (55), OR (7), WA (11), IA (7), IL (21), WI (10), MI (17), NH (4), MA (12), NY (31), PA (21), RI (4), NJ (7), CT (15), DE (3), HI (4)
229 Electoral Votes
States where he leads by 5 or more points.
CO (9), NM (5), MN (10), VA (13), ME (4)
41 Electoral Votes
270 Electoral Votes to win the race.
This isn't even including battleground states where polls show he's leading.
NV (5), MO (11), OH (20), NC (15), FL (27).
Looks very grim for McCain.

Sure, he has a chance. The Obama voters could decide not to vote.
That's his best shot.

It is possible, but tough, because:
1. The media's infatuation with Obama
2. The millions of dollars people are pumping into Obama's campaign
3. McCain hasn't gotten the "liberal" label to stick to Obama (he's not saying the L word enough)
It is interesting with the media. They got on and said that the American people are angry, and McCain does not seem angry enough, and should get angry in the next debate. Then McCain gets in a debate and sounds angry, and they trash him for sounding angry while Obama sounded suave and smooth.

Actually i think he has a big chance, sadly. They were saying on the news that most of the people that want to vote for obama might chicken out at the last minute (there was also a joke on snl) because of the huge change. Also, governer Palin is very likeable and pple really like her. Me, personally, i do not want to see Mccain come even close to Obama in this election but i think he has a really good chance.

The worst thing Obama and his supporters could do is get over confident. And yes McCain has a chance I think it will be a close election despite what the polls say.

Zogby has the election as a statistical dead heat.
Of course he has a chance.
Obama has a slight edge but he has a history of failing to close the deal. It took him forever to knock off Hillary.
If you think Obama can relax you have got another thing coming.

Sure he does. Just check out the polls, he is closing the gap. Also, the more Obama talks about his silly tax plan the more people will realize he doesn't have a clue!

Simple math. He has a 50/50 % chance because he's running against only one. So does Bark O'bummer. (misspelling intended)
If you would have been more diligent in math you'd be able to note that yourself. Polls have no power, unfortunately. Election day does. If you're so sure that Bark wins, then why is there fear behind your eyes? :)) haha!
the polls actually help motivate the McCain supporters to make sure they don't miss election day... ever thought of it?

Looking dicey for McCain. Finally, Americans are rejecting anger, hate mongering, and the lies perpetrated by the far right who are distorting the Repub-LIE-CON party and ruining McCain's campaign. Bottom line -- McCain is not in command, which is exactly what we'd get if he got elected.

Sure he has a chance. The problem is that everyone is so confident bragging about POLLS. Wait till the votes are counted!

He has a chance, because a lot of americans think Obama is a terrorist, muslim, black radical, left wing....
