    1. If something happens before November 4th that makes him look bad, it won't matter since you can't take your vote back. (Too bad!)

    2. There's only one day to vote, so it's a rush to get into the polls in time before they close. (In other words, he wants a good voter turnout. The polls aren't always accurate since the voter turnout is normally a completely different story.)

    3. He might be worried (example: Bill Ayers and Reverend Wright), but not likely since most politicians encourage people to vote early anyway.

We'll see what happens, I guess. It's still up in the air.

He is afraid of all the NEW voting laws and regulations that will exclude people. If people go now, they still have a chance before Nov 4, to get any problems fixed. Real underhanded isn't it?

  • He's not afraid. He just feels like more people should vote. Because it is a privilege given by the government & therefore should be executed by all that can apply to the given standards.

I'm a McCain Supporter. So don't think that this is a biased explanation.

Because voting on election day is going to be a nightmare, and if you've made up your mind, why the hell not? There's a reason for early voting; do you know what it is? It's to vote early.

McCain should be saying the same thing, makes sense. That is why they have early voting to keep the line shorter on election day and votes counting will not take all night.

To avoid large crowds on November 4th. Also, if there is a problem with your registration, you'd have time to fix it before November 4th. It seems to me this would benefit McCain as well as Obama. Why in the world would you twist this around to "What is he afraid of?" I think if a Republican saw Obama tie his shoes, he'd be accused of doing it wrong.....

no be cause he knows that the republicans always try and pull of shady stuff on election day with the booths. it will be so packed and there will be so many voting problems. all thats going to do is hurt the democrats. I suggest anyone votiing should vote early. the GOP will be up to their tricks again!

Could it be - Republicans trying to rig the vote again a la Florida 2000?

His request is a perfectly sensible precaution.

  • Because there is early voting available in some states, so he is just trying to get people to go ahead an get their vote in now rather than waiting.

because theres always something going on with McCranky and Palin and he wants these recent events to be fresh in peoples minds so they DONT vote for his competitors
