Recipe for bbq sauce.?
I used this recipe many years ago and it was so good. I never thought I'd forget the ingredients because there were only three. However, the only ingredient I can remember is apple butter. That was mixed, in equal proportions to two other ingredients. One may have been ketchup, but I'm just not sure.
5 AnswersCooking & Recipes6 years agoI'm trying to remember the name of a book that I heard about on the radio. Can you help?
It's a true story -- about a mom and dad who have a son and when he is about 2-years-old, he is diagnosed with autism. Eventually his mom starts a day care and has only children diagnosed with autism and discovers that most are very intelligent and can become productive citizens. One little boy is always trying to take the back cover of the tv off the tv! The mom goes to a store that accepts broken tvs, computers, etc. She buys several (because they are not expensive) and this little boy actually gets them working again. It sounded like a wonderful book but I cannot remember the name. I do remember it was only a two-word title, starting with "The" and the 2nd word started with an "S" and sort of described these kids -- the word was not "special" but something sort of like that. I would love to read this book, but I cannot find it because I don't know the title. Thanks for any help.
1 AnswerBooks & Authors8 years agoDoes anyone remember this cooking show that was on tv (may have been PBS) in the early 80's?
It starred two men, and I think they were from the south (USA). They were really funny but had some great recipes, one of which was potatoes au gratin. I was making the recipe the other day and thought it would be so much fun if I could find some of their old shows. But I cannot remember their names or the name of the show. Thanks for any help!
1 AnswerTalk Shows9 years agoIs anyone watching the Olympics, which I have been anxiously awaiting, and finding the opening ceremony?
the opening ceremony somewhat droll? We keep watching, hoping it will get lively and it's BORING. Is it just me?
6 AnswersOther - Cultures & Groups9 years agoAre you having trouble understanding what SOPA is all about?
Here's a link to help you understand it a little bit better. Posted this question earlier, but the link didn't work. Hopefully, this time it will work. Here goes:
10 AnswersSenior Citizens9 years agoDo you worry that tech support people will think you are the dumbest person they've ever met?
I always felt that way, but I now know there's someone out there a little bit dumber than I am.
Tech Support: "I need you to right-click on the Open Desktop."
Customer: "Ok."
Tech Support: "Did you get a pop-up menu?"
Customer: "No."
Tech Support: "Ok. Right click again. Do you see a pop-up menu?"
Customer: "No."
Tech Support: "Ok, sir. Can you tell me what you have done up until this point?"
Customer: "Sure, you told me to write 'click' and I wrote click'."

20 AnswersSenior Citizens1 decade agoAt the top of my computer screen, I have those little tabs that you can click on and one of them is missing?
It's the tab for Y/A Answers. I still have the tab for Mail, My Yahoo, etc, but not the answer tab. I'm not even sure if they are called "tabs" but I hope someone knows what I am talking about! It was so convenient to click on "Answers" and go straight to the answer section. Now I have to click on My Yahoo, wait for that screen, and then click on answers -- Help! It is much appreciated.

I tried to change my avatar and didn't like the new one, but it showed up anyway! Now, not only does my computer hate me but so does Yahoo Answers! 5 AnswersJokes & Riddles1 decade agoMy mom confessed that she's having blackout spells. One was at a local grocery store.?
She was about to turn her car off, the next thing she remembers is that she ran over the cement block, knocked down the handicapped sign (it was completely under her car) and was up on the edge of the sidewalk. When she came to, about 5 or 6 people were around her car. A very nice man helped her pull her car forward. She did go into the grocery store and leave her name and number. She has not heard from them since. I have told her she should no longer drive. And, I have made arrangements for my husband or me to be at her condo at least 3 times a week to get her groceries, etc. I was afraid she would drive anyhow, so told her we should take her car to our place so that we can drive it and keep it in good condition. She said she wants to keep it at her place "just in case". I know she'll drive when she feels like it and I now feel so responsible. Anyone else been in this sick, sick situation. What should I do? My mom just celebrated her 96th birthday so it's not like I'm trying to stop a 60-year-old from driving. I just feel so responsible -- what if she had a blackout and killed a child! I almost wish she had not told me!
15 AnswersSenior Citizens1 decade agoDid Rush Limbaugh really ask his listeners not to give any money to Haiti?
That is what I heard on the radio, but I cannot imagine that he actually said that. I admit that I am a liberal, but even I am shocked if he actually said that.
12 AnswersMedia & Journalism1 decade agoHas anyone seen that little boy from Haiti that is sitting there, looking naked, and looking so scared?
It was on the news, then, in the papers. He looks like he is about 10-years-old, and he looks so scared. I cannot stop thinking about him. I think I would adopt him if I could. How does one go about finding out who he is and if he is okay?
4 AnswersCurrent Events1 decade agoWhat idea or invention did you think would never become popular?
For instance, I remember when someone told me that someday there would be no gas station attendants and that there would be self-serve gasoline pumps. I really thought that would be too dangerous and that it would never happen.
22 AnswersSenior Citizens1 decade agoAnyone have a baked macaroni and cheese recipe where you don't boil the noodles?
I would love a recipe that didn't require boiling the noodles before adding them to the casserole. I have tried that with lasagna and it worked great. However, I am a little nervous about trying that with mac & cheese as there isn't as much sauce like there is in lasagna. Thanks for any help.
3 AnswersCooking & Recipes1 decade agoWhen you push "alt" and "3" you get a "♥". Do you know any other symbols like that?
Someone asked a question about how to make the heart symbol. Someone else answered saying use the "alt" key and the "3" key and you get the heart. It worked! However, now I am wondering if there are other symbols you can make using that technique. Or, do you know of a website that would list them? Thanks for any help.
