My best friends mother had a brain stem stroke on friday..?
she has little to no movement. they are giving her an mri every 24 hrs and as of yesturday the bleeding had stopped but then this morning they found more damage on her brain. she's only 56 and she was the healthiest person i know.
every website i look at basically is telling me that her chances of getting through this are grim. im just wondering what you folks have to say about this and if anyone has any personal experience to share.

Sorry to hear this. A brainstem stroke is very serious because it can affect alot of functions, such as breathing. Alot depends on the level affected at the brainstem. Can't give you good news here.
