That for the first time as a voter this will be the hardest decision of my life. I support Obama but I'm deeply saddened for the people who support him just because he's black. Same thing for McCain and some of his supporters because he's not black. This upcoming election has truly opened many eyes as to the problem this country still faces now in 2008. There is now a clear line that separates educated and ignorant, Democrat and Republican and most disappointing, black from white. Hopefully, the culture shock of Obama possibly winning the election will help grant people the opportunity to learn how to tolerate each other.

I have learned that just because you have aligned yourself with one political party for most of your life, it does not mean that someone won't come along to make you take a completely different view of things. I learned that there is no limit to how low some people will go to win an election. I learned that politicians can seriously underestimate the voters in America. I learned that I can be really interested in following politics again.

From the 2008 Elections, I've learned that it is playing out like a scripted Soap Opera, and this may be the longest campaign in history.

Honestly, that crooked politicians will do and say anything to get our votes. And that most Americans are stupid, they go for a great smile and could care less about the fact that the man has proved to be a typical politician.

It's really beyond words.
I've learned there are republicans and then there is the rest of the world. Mind you some democrats fit into their camp as well too. That kind of mentality can't remain contained in just one political/religious camp....whatever it is.
