Okay, at first John McCain had my vote until the mudslinging started. Now I'm up in the air. Help!?
Even though Obama is from the last bastion of anti-gun nuts, and the city with the highest violent crime and murder rate, Chicago, Il. I am no longer sure I'm voting for the best man in John McCain. I'm asking for perspective from people who have taken it all in, not Obama nuts or McCain nuts. So here's the real question: Which man is the best man to run "America the beautiful"? (as we once called it). Thanx.
I'm sorry, I meant highest violent crime and murder rate as of 2008 not 2007.

Both candidates have run negative campaigns. Unfortunately, that's what politicians do. Vote for the candidate whose political views are closest to your own. Look at what they have done and what they plan to do, then vote based on that. For me, I believe that John McCain is the most equipped to lead our country. He has the experience and he understands that Americans do not need the government imposing mandates on them. My father owns two small businesses, so of course taxes and health care are a major factor in determining my vote. I suggest you vote based on the issues that are most important to you.

Mudslinging is presenting false information. Check out sites like factcheck.org on both candidates to see where the mudslinging is or what issues should be of concern. If information in either McCain's or Obama's ads are true, it is not mudslinging, it is information that should be of concern to all Americans.

Has McCain and his cronies EVER attacked a man for merely asking him a simple question?
Joe the plumber did nothing but ask a question. It wasn't misleading, or entrapping. It was Obama's answer that made him look bad, so he and his media buddies began a smear attack on an average American citizen.
Is this what you want in the most powerful office in the world?
A man who handles criticism by accusing other people for making him look bad?

McCain could be a great president but not in these times...he is not the man for RIGHT NOW... Obama is what we need now, he has a great team and he could truly be a transformational figure for our country, America needs a rebirth...his passion brings hope to us

I say, "Once a mudslinger, always a mudslinger."
Usually. this is a tactic of last resort, when a candidate has run out of real things to say, and he thinks nobody is listening anymore, and he wants some attention.
Stay tuned, keep informed, and listen to your gut.

They also tried to scare the public with Rev. Wright. I was concerned about Wright until I read this article a long time ago.

It's really up to you. What issues are important to you? I'm pro-gun and I am voting Obama, he's not going to take our guns away like some people seem to think.

All I know is Barack wants to "Spread the Wealth" and Joe Biden predicted a huge international crisis within 2 years of Obama getting in office.
I'll take my chances with John McCain, especially if my family starts making 250k+
