I really am amazed that people considered Rudy for President. This is a man who was mayor of a city and did what any other mayor in 9/11 would have done to restore calm. He is no great man, he ran around and dumped his wife for an opportunistic hussy. Many of his cohorts were crooks. He used strong armed tactics to clean up NYC. (He did make NY safer) I just didn't agree with some of the ways he did it.

As a New Yorker, most of us are INSULTED at the fame Rudy has gained from 9/11. What most Americans don't know is on September 10, 2001 Rudy was the most hated man in the city! All his dirty laundry would've come out if he was nominated. (Which I was hoping for.) Trust me, Rudy would've been a DISASTER!

I just can't see Rudy dressed as a Tranny in the White House. Aside from that I guess the secret service would be very actively involved in security for his mistresses. Finally, considering the reasons he gave NYPD & FDNY to despise him I don't think he would be any more popular across the nation than he was in New York.

Not me. If you were from New York you would know why - he was a terrible mayor, and as a prosecutor - it was all about getting his name in the papers. He trampled civil liberties in NYC among other things. I will say that he was a good man throughout the september 11th crisis. Many were very surprised actually. But that was not the real Rudy. New York knows him very well - and they can't stand him.

Good god no, he is my least favororite republican. Him and Fred Thompson are the biggest rat fink POS's in politics. I'm voting Obama but I'd pick McCain over Giuliani anyday.

I'm from New York, and let me tell you many of the people of New York really dislike Giuliani. Plus, he has to much BAD past luggage in his past!
