Magnetic bracelets dangerous?

I just purchased a magnetic bracelet from Trion:Z to see if it would help with joint stiffness and improve circulation. It says that women should not wear a magnetic bracelet if they are pregnant, but I can't find anything saying why or if it affects fertility as well. My wife and I are trying to get pregnant, should I not wear it? Does anyone have any experience witht this?

Why Magnetic Bracelets Don’t Work On Most Types Of Pain

In a nutshell, therapeutic magnets work in this way:

    1. They act locally, only around the area that they are placed on, to improve the blood flow around the injury and it’s very near surrounding tissue.

    2. They reduce inflammation in the tissues, again only locally around the area that they are placed.

    3. A magnetic field created by placing high strength healing magnets over an injured area will penetrate into the body and tissues and surround the injured area. The depth that the magnetic field (or throw as it is called in science) depends on how strong the magnet is, how large the magnet is and whether there is any additional mechanism pushing the magnetic field further into the body.

    Wearing Magnetic Bracelets

It will not have any effect on pregnancy. The fact is that those phony bracelets have a magnetic field similar to a refrigerator magnet. The field dissipates after a few mm, much less than the distance from the skin to the uterus (or the epidermis to the dermis). The real danger in magnets is to your wallet. They have this nasty habit of wasting your money.

    Edit:

Okay Mr. Vitamen Guy, How does a magnet increase circulation? And don't say some crap like hemoglobin contains iron, because the iron in the heme ring is Fe(II) and is not ferromagnetic. The Fe(III) state is ferromagnetic, the only problem is that this is also the state of methemoglobin. Methemoglobin doesn't carry oxygen.

So tell me, HOW DOES IT INCREASE CIRCULATION?

I've suffered with migraines for 20 years. I started wearing a magnet bracelet on my right wrist and the migraines stopped occurring. I removed the bracelet after a year, and migraines came back. I've had enough pain, so I ordered prettier bracelets from Acemagnetics.com and plan to wear them!! Also, for you migraine sufferers, I've been told Feverfew is great for migraines.

Joe has nailed the answer perfectly. I would add that if there was an effect, why is this not shown during MRI (Magnetic resonance imaging), where the magnetic strength is orders of magnitude stronger than "therapeutic" magnets?

Most of the couples seek medical treatments once they figure out that the magic is not happening between them. Well, it is advised to give it some time and wait for about 6 months to a year before you actually seek medical help. Given below are some simple home remedies which will enhance your chance of getting pregnant naturally https://tr.im/hvtx8

If it says women shouldn't wear them during pregnancy, that wouldn't have any negative impact towards men.

The thing with pregnancy is that the body initially treats the Zygote similar to an illness (a foreign-bound entity in the body), so the immune system reacts (ergo morning sickness). By increasing immune system response (which can happen from increasing circulation), the immune system could get enough strength to successfully attack the fetus.

It's more of a preventative "just in case" thing to have pregnant women avoid them, not necessarily that it will hurt the fetus.

In either case, men don't have to worry about fertility issues.

Any effects are entirely imaginary. Good or bad.
