What are you hypocritical about as a mother?
We all are a little.
For example, I am always saying that kids need their veggies and fruits but last night I was painting the living room and let my kids have nachos for dinner. Not very nutritious but very fast and since they ate off the same plate I didn't have to do too many dishes after I got done painting. So tell me, what is it that you are hypocritical about?
You are all being so great and honest. I was expecting some "I am not a hypocrit I am a GOOD parent" types but I am impressed with all of you. I hate admitting my short falls but it takes a good parent and a great person to do it so kudos to all who have answered

I curse, way more than I should. But I tell my children not to. :(

Junk food. I never give it to my kids, but my own diet is not the best. I don't eat it all the time but when that 'time of the month' rolls around a pint of Ben & Jerry's doesn't have a prayer!

My suggestion for you is to have some persistence. Your mom's paintings outdoors of abode will pay the expenditures. Her paintings is greater important than abode paintings at abode, because you're unlikely to have a house to stay in, if the expenditures are not paid.

When I have my computer out to check on work, and limit their computer time. Although then just feel like a lousy parent too.

Cursing.
I'll admit, I do slip yet I tell my son not to do it.Thankfully he is a good little one and doesn't repeat my "naughty" words.
