Playin hooky with my 11 yr. old tomorrow..any ideas?

Ok, so please dont tell me that he should go to school, he's a really good kid, gets great grades and he deserves a break. I havent been spending a lot of one on one time with him because he has 3 younger siblings and its tough, So tomorrow the kid and I are hangin together for a 'mom and son' day. Only problem is, I have no idea what an 11 yr. old kid would wanna do. He keeps givin me outrageous suggestions like Disneyland or Great Adventures...we live in NYC. So it would have to be local and I dont wanna break the bank ya dig? So if anyone can give me any good suggestions I would really appreciate it. Thanks!

    Which boro?

If you are in Manhatten, Madam Tussauds is REALLY cool. You can touch the figures and take pictures with them. The South Street Sea Port is cool, and the Downtown Boathouse (walk-up public kayaking, kayak trips on the harbor, evening classes, and a winter swimming pool program. They also make the facilities available to the general public for the launching of small hand powered boats).

    Have a blast!

I even have an rather much 11 year old choosy female too, and a 6 year old that would consume rather much each little thing (she is extremely atletic and choose quite some potential. What I do for the two considered one of them the universal peanut butter, turkey, tuna, cheese sandwiches. I have been given each and each of them a sort of thermos packing containers which you would be able to positioned warm nutrition. so I provide them. Raviolis, macaroni and cheese, soups (noodle, my 6 year loves goldfish soup) and different left over dinners like fowl, rice, mashed potatos, spaghetti. those packing containers save the nutrition heat till lunch time. to boot to all above, I provide them 2 snacks.as an occasion end result they love, mandarines, strawberries, grapes, orange, small apples etc. additionally cheese, goldfish crackers, string cheese, yogurt, pirate's booty particularly of chips, fruit snacks. wish this help a sprint.

I would say probably take him mini-golfing if you could and it is interactive. Maybe a pizza lunch, a few games of air hockey and then catch a movie he wants to see. It would take up the whole day and wouldn't break the bank.
