Why are Adult Nursing Relationships considered a taboo/fetish? really?

after all some women/men have no problem swallowing after Oral sex...so people are willing to ingest one thing and not the other?

I think that if you take the "sexual needs" out of it and replaced it with "quality time/bonding time together" then maybe it is not nearly as repulsive..

after all, an infant is the single most fragile thing in the home-if we have no problem providing breast milk for the infant...then why is it that it is soooo "disgusting"? Obviously it is good enough for that infant that we take such high care of...

I think that we make SUCH a big thing out of it...that we fail to recognize that for the longest time in history, this has been rather common up until the last century...

read up on Roman Charity-Pero and Cimon and you will get an idea for how old this practice is...

This country provides 80-90% of the porn on the internet..believe me..there are FAR worse things than ANR...I simply find any frustrations with ANR to be rather hypocritical

1) if you are engorged, nothing better than hubby to help (if he's willing)

2) supply and demand...that child will NEVER have a problem with supply, if they get a little help from an outside source..

3)it helps with several different immunities not just with infants but across the board..including cancer patients..

Update:

how do we determine and through the rules of what culture "what is natural"?

again..this has gone on for THOUSANDS of years and in western culture, stopped a century ago...

Update 2:

bubbly...I don't see it in a SEXUAL way..there is little to no sexual appeal...there is a sensual appeal..and I do see a difference between the 2, because it does NOT have to lead to sex afterwards if she is not interested.

so the turn on aspect is not the attraction...it is simply a question of cuddling/bonding/quality time together...

I'm assuming you are talking about an adult drinking milk out of a womans breast???

I have to say, ive never heard of it. It sounds a little strange bc of our culture... Americans are told that breastfeeding should be private, and that children should be weaned off of breastfeeding quickly. In other cultures, people breastfeed openly with their boobs hanging out and kids nurse until they are like 6 or 7.

Its just a cultural difference. I dont think anything is WRONG with it, but for western society its just "different".

I wouldn't recommend it for nutritional purposes, as there is a reason why we stop drinking milk and go onto solid foods as we get older because milk no longer provides the nutrients we need. In fact according to several studies in LANCET, we should not be drinking much of any kind of milk at all, since as we grow older our tolerance for milk and dairy based products reduces, particularly if they are homogenized and pasteurized (which I doubt breast milk is, unless you're thinking of setting up a factory...). This is why so many people become lactose intolerant as they grow older.

I think people frown on it as a sexual act because of the connotations it has in regards to children/babies, because they're the ones that usually feed from the breast. If you want to do it then that's your thing, but there is only a very limited time for a person to be able to do so, unless of course a person is only engaging in intercourse with people who are breast feeding.

The Roman's used wet nurses for children however I think you will find that apart from Pero and Cimon (who aren't the most reliable of individuals) adult breast feeding was not common. Also your argument that because it was done for centuries then we should do it now is not a very strong one. There are many things the Roman's did (such as slavery, castration and eating doormice) that we thankfully don't do now.

Your argument about the treatment of cancer is very interesting, however. If you want to partake of your partners breast milk, go right ahead. I personally would find it odd if my partner was turned on by the act...Oedipus and Freud come to mind.

honestly i dont think i would care if my partner drank my breast milk... in saying that i think it is frowned upon if it is a sexual thing. i dont "swallow" anything and i think that was a poor example. its weird because the breast milk is there until the child is able to eat popper food then the milk goes away. it is not natural for a grown man/or woman to drink breast milk.

If I'd produced milk, I'd have no problem with that, except my hubby hates all types of milk! lol

What ever turns you on but I for one would not permit that but then I am an American.
