young earth creationists, is there any branch of science which points to the earth being 6000-10000 yrs. old?

Question

if you ask a geologist, they will tell you the time it takes for the the individual strata in the earth's crust to form is on the order of millions years.
if you ask a physicist, they will refer you to depleted uranium 238 which has a half life of approximately 4.5 billion years.
if you ask a biologist, they will tell you the amount of time it theoretically takes to evolve from simple single-celled organisms to the advanced state of complex life we have today is on the order of hundreds of millions, if not billions of years.
so, where is the evidence of a young earth?

I'm a  young earth creationist and I know the Earth is only 7000 years old because the Bible says so.  It says God made the heavens and earth in 7 days and a day to God is 1000 years.  I know the Bible is right because God says so in the Bible.

I'm no expert, by I'd say polystrate fossils. They occur in many places on earth. Basically, it's a tree (200-400 years old, as dated by its rings) that sticks through multiple strata that are supposedly millions of years old. The best explanation for this is a global, sudden, massive Flood, as the Bible and most ancient cultures describe.

Science does not prove everything. The "evidence" you provide is not evidence at all...it is a theory. There is absolutely no concrete evidence that the earth was formed billions of years of ago. Following the same thread, creation does not have to be proved by science, but if you want some information, see below.

we haven't even been around for that long! unless we've been around for millions of years, scientifically we can't proove that something has existed for that amount of time
