Losing weight through Pilates?

Is it possible to lose a total of 50POUNDS of weight by commiting to an everyday 20-minute pilates workout for a whole year??? Of course, the food intake would be just a normal portion and no binging.

Any expert here who can answer this?

I have been losing weight--South Beach--also pilates twice a week and 5 days on the treadmill--3 miles. The pilates is really helping to reshape my body. I love it. But I think you really need to do more than just pilates--you need cardio and you need to eat healthy.
