1. Chocolate is a trigger for some migraineurs, and not for others
Chocolate and headache are often linked, and it's true that chocolate is a trigger for some people. But read on! Many people who think they should avoid chocolate may not have to. Others will simply have to avoid it no matter what. But for some, the chocolate and headache link may be that chocolate gets rid of the headache once it starts.
The culprit may be phenylethylamine (PEA). PEA is the chemical in chocolate that may cause the blood vessels to expand and contract. However, it's also a natural mood enhancer, stress reliever and memory enhancer. So once again, it may have more good than bad for some people. The chocolate and headache connection is still unclear.
A study at the University of Pittsburgh suggested that the role of chocolate as a migraine trigger may be over emphasized.

For me It's not the caffeine, I use caffeine with no headaches. Not sugar as I can overdue sugar other ways with no problem. My headaches are from real chocolate only. I can eat chocolate cakes, cookies, drinks without problems. Chocolate bars, or chocolate chips before bed always give me a hangover in the morning, just like I drank the night before, dizzy, headache and all.
One interesting possible link is I get a similar thing with eggplant, is there any common ingredients maybe?

Chocolate is one of the many foods that is known to trigger headaches.
It isn't the chocolate itself that is giving you the headache,
but the stuff inside it (caffeine, tannins, tyramine )
It probably because you are developing an allergy to chocolate,
try not eating any chocolate for two weeks then try it again and then eliminate it again. If the headaches come and go with the elimination and reintroduction, you may want to check with a dietetics professional.

i know exactly how you feel. in the mornings, when i eat chocolate, i get head-aches. heres why......
check your sugar first. Some times in diabetics, when there sugar gets really high (like after they eat chocolate lol) they will get headaches.
You also could be allergic to an ingredient in the sweets. For example, my sons allergic to Eggs. Theres more eggs in chocolate than in say cake... you know what i mean?
I would get a list of symptoms together- even things that arent related to your eating sweets- like, if you are tired alot or whatever... and take it to a doc.

Probably too much sugar in body...
Or your just having too much things in your mind or too much stress.
If it always gives you a headache I suggest going to a doctor and getting a blood test.
