Poll: What for you is or was an instant deal breaker on a first date?

Man, I hate it when I get in his car and can HEAR the hooker screaming in his trunk, that really irks me.

ok one answerer had pretty much said it all for me, but here goes.

I screen my dates REALLLLLY well.i havent dated in over 12 years,having been semi-happily married for that long.

Sooo,if I WERE to date, he would have to be PRETTY darn special,for me to even CONSIDER it.

Well first off, I have never dated anyone that I didn’t already know reasonably well. I have either went to High School with them or worked with them for example. None of the guys that have attempted to pick me up at bars have managed to score the first date or my phone number. So many conversations have happened before he asks me out. Since I already know him somewhat that cuts out a lot of the stuff that everyone seems to have mentioned already like lack of manners and swearing.

If during the date anything major that he previously had told me turns out to be false or his behavior deviates from what I know him to be (in a bad way), that would be a definite deal breaker for me. To date though it hasn’t happened.

If the person smoked, was high on drugs, or said they had kids, I'd probably not want to go out again. If I noticed that the person had a lot of tatoos or piercings or dyed hair, I'd probably also be wary. If the person was a Republican or really conservative...homophobic, racist, really ignorant, rude and obnoxious to the people around us, a die-hard religious nut, a health freak, talking about sexually racy things too much, too flirty/desperate, bragging too much, bad hygeine, overly critical, didn't like kids or animals, a sports nut, die-hard into gore, or into partying/drinking....probably not interested.

some ignorant specimen telling me that "social scientists are not genuine scientists". And innovations this got here from somebody who's actually doing a PhD. yet nonetheless that wasn't a real date, and nor became the specimen a real guy. you would be shocked at what number human beings walk around doing PhD's jointly as actually having not something interior their brains. Intelligence does not entail unquestionably smarts! Yeah i might say that presumptuously ignorant and cognitively constrained sh...t heads incredibly plenty placed me off... (and no count what their unquestionably credentials may well be lol)

I've been told everything in regards to why it wouldn't work with me. Everything from a lack of chemistry (meaning she didn't think I was good looking enough for her) to my hair being a little long (collar length fer cryin out loud). I only have one. If someone says they don't have kids but actually do. I have no desire to raise kids and not telling me sooner is misleading and a waste of my time and hers.

To be completely honest, I didn't like it when they talked with a trash mouth. (perversion, non-stop swearing) It was an immediate "gross/loser" to me and that would end it right then and there. A little respect goes a long way, no respect falls flat.
