Have you seen Joe the Plumber's Response?

Joe got Obama to show his REAL colors better than anyone so far. Obama does not like that middle class guy. An average Joe got Obama to leak.

I think he is a fraud, and you have been suckered.

Let's look at the facts here:

- He is not called Joe.

- He is not a plumber (he has no license).

- He does not earn anywhere near close to the amount that would incur the 3% extra tax Obama wants to charge rich people.

- He is not in a position to buy the business he said he wanted to buy.

- He is a tax cheat, so much so the state has put a lien on his home until he pays his back taxes.

- He hasn't paid a $1,200 medical bill.

- He has admitted that he had an agenda of confronting Obama, rather than it being a chance meeting outside his home.

And at the end of the day Samuel (his real name), is basically arguing that one day he would like to get rich and when he does, he wants to hoard his money and pay as little tax as possible.

But the reality is he has spent ten years in the profession, and hasn't even bothered to get licensed (a minimum requirement if he were to buy the business). So it doesn't seem like any of the fantasies in his head have any chance of coming true.

The reality is, he would almost certainly benefit from the Obama tax plan. Perhaps he could use the money Obama saved him to get licensed, pay off his back taxes or medical bills, and progress towards his goal of buying the business.

But instead he has allowed himself to be exploited by the McCain campaign, and is effectively voting to be screwed over for four more years of the same kind of policies that have left him in the bad situation he is already in.

The guy doesn't make 50k...much less 250k...he'd get a bigger tax cut under Obama and so would his boss (he's a one man shop with his assistant Joe).

This issue shows how shallow McCain's policies are. The facts are quite clear that 'Joe' would do better under Obama's plan....as would 98% of other small businesses.

Realize also that under McCain, with his 300 BILLION in tax cuts for the rich (those making over 250k), we each have to accept $1000 in additional burden in the national debt......so much for your measly tax cut.

McCain offers everyone under 250k 1/5th the tax cut + $1000 more burden in the national debt. That sucks.

Obama's plan offers the middle class a bigger tax cut and pays for itself, by taxing the wealthy. Most economic stimulus is gained by tax cuts to the middle class & poor too......so it actually helps the economy.

Pay attention Joe. Obama said no tax increase on NET income under $250,000 per year. That would be YOUR income, not the business.

No he does not. He sounds like he doesn't know what he is talking about. And I listened to Obama's response to his question. It was answered with clarity and specificity. Joe simply did not understand the response, so he criticized it.

i guess i missed the really good points because i still think he is full of it.

I wonder if he even spend time research on both candidates policy and what it stand for, he clealy doesn't know either candidates tax plan till the reporter tell him about their tax plan.

He actually inspires me.

Can we vote for him for something???
