I bought some iki bear in the supermarket. I didn't drink it. I gave it to a friend who said 'alligata' which means thank you.(Japanese)

Iki is written as 粋 in a kanji.
The meaning is smart, chic and cool.
It includes the traditional meaning.

Thank you in Japanese is "arigato." I have no idea what "iki bear" is. I thought you meant "ike" as in ikebana or flower-arranging.
