A birthday poem for invites...?

Question

My son is turning one in December and I want to send out a picture card with a picture of him feeding himself his first meal.  I want to include a poem that reads something along the lines of,"You can't be a part of all of my firsts  but you can be a part of my first birthday."  I want it to be two lines and rhyme.  Can someone help me with that?

I'm not really excited--- Oh, who am I kidding?! I'm no longer a child, To do others' bidding! On August the ninth I turn 21, Come over to my place, And let's have some fun! Sorry---no strippers, And no caviar, But at least you won't have To travel too far! Please come at six, << << (or whatever time you want in here) We'll dance and we'll sing, Next year I'll be old, So let's do this thing!!!

take my advice and don't go all out for your child's first birthday. I did that and rented a hall, got tons of food, and you know what-three kids showed up. It was such a waste for something he doesn't even remember. 
But not to be a spoilsport, here's your rhyme:

"You may have missed my other firsts,
   like steps and words and teeth,
but I'd be really happy if you'd share
my first birthday with me"
