I have a thermos question?
I am looking for a thermos so I can bring hot soup with me to work. I want one that I can plug into an outlet or cigarette lighter so it will be very hot when I am ready to eat. Do these exist? If not I would like recommendations of standard ones that will stay hot for at least 5 hours. Thanks

Thermos brand is best. They sell these heaters you put into your bowl or cup of liquid to heat it up. I always thought that the cigarette lighter model for your car was crazy as I wonder who would heat up liquids in their car? LOL.....A thermos will usually keep cold things cold and hot things hot for a long time.

The stainless steel thermoses are better than the ones that have glass interiors. They will last for hours. And yes you can buy some that plug into your car cigarette lighter. Check out a car accessory store, we bought one years ago but have to confess we have never used it.

i like Thermos Brand. I wake up at around 6 to heat up lunch, i usually eat lunch at 1. so 7 hours not that bad. it actually keeps food warm.

I dont know of any electronic thermos, but i think you might have an invention idea there :o
