Obama thinks USA has 57 states... Why?
Now, some things can be a slip of the tongue, but do we really want a guy who has no idea of the basic history of the wonderful USA to play President? Man, he doesn't seem very stable to me....
How about ya'll?

That's how many states we are going to have by the time his presidency is over.

Wow how long are you folks going to milk that one? He had been to 47 states. McCain has made some pretty bad blunders too, thinking Iraq borders Afghanistan and I don't think that was a slip of the tongue. And then there is the video of him calling a woman an *ss-wh*re during a senate meeting-just a slip.

He misspoke he was tired and he said fifty instead of forty.Do you really think a man who went to Harvard doesn't know how many states we have? You want unstable? How about the fact that McCain has been changing his position on major issues for years. His reaction during the financial crisis,Sarah freakin' Palin for God Sakes man,he is as unstable as he can be without actually being in a loony bin.

Same reason that McCain said:
"I think you may have noticed that Senator Obama's supporters have been saying some pretty nasty things about Western Pennsylvania lately. And you know, I couldn't agree with them more. I couldn't disagree with you....I couldn't agree with you more than the fact that Western Pennsylvania is the most patriotic, most god-loving, most, most patriotic part of America, and this is a great part of the country."
Tongues slip sometimes, but McCain's was an avalanche.

Isn't this question about Obama. Why do these liberal swine try to bring up McCain and Palin when the question pertains to their "holy messiah"? In fact all liberal democratic knumbskulls tend to answer questions with a question because they don't have answers or they answer the question just like Obama gaffed on the 57 states. Like Carlos Mencia said, there should be a law to prevent liberal "tun turans" from voting. They will screw up this election.

That's wrong, its Palin who thinks USA has 57 states. But then she probably couldn't find Alaska on a map.

Yes, back in May he misspoke. Being tired is not a sign of instability.

go to snopes.com and you will find your answer.. You want to really open this can of worms? Check out McCain on youtube or just pull it up online anywhere and listen to his mistakes. I mean if this is what you are going to weigh your vote on you better go back to the drawing board.

I guess he is counting Puerto Rico, Afganistan, Iraq, Georgia (the one in Asia) Japan, South Korea, and Israel on top of the normal 50.

We're back to this again. Again, if you view the tape it's clear to see that Obama meant to say "47 states plus Alaska and Hawaii and the one I haven't been to yet."
How do you explain McCain saying to his supporters, "my fellow prisoners?"
