Flying to England in December - which is better airport to leave from?

I'm flying to England on Dec 21 from Edmonton and I was wondering which was the better place to fly out of Vancouver or Toronto? I am scare of flight delays due to weather because I have to make a connecting flight in London. Which way would you go?

    You're likelier to have weather-related delays flying through Toronto that time of year than you would through Vancouver.

    Fly with Emirates from Toronto. They are THE best airline, and as for weather, that is uncontrollable and so you might as well choose a comfortable airline, and just hope for good weather. Happy flying
