If my child dressed up and walked around to all the houses to get Halloween candy...?
...should I force him to share his candy with the neighbor kids who decided to stay home and play video games?
I believe it's called, "Spreading the Wealth".

No.
You CONFISATE his candy. Then YOU decide who is worthy of HIS candy.

I guess you have not figured out why you pay taxes, it is no different, and while you are at it you might realilze why you think it is fine for the current spreading the wealth of middle class paying their own share and helping the top 1percent to not pay is fine and not socilaism either, oh but then you would have been arrested by saying something against Bush and rogues,, and enjoy having your freedom and liberty taken without complaint for security, that is just an illussion of protection being harassed at airports etc, while they are doing nothing more then rewarding underpaid employees to take your shampoo, and other goodies home as a perk,. mind you its not safe!

NO!!!!! U cannot force anyone into anything. And what is the point in doing that?!?!? Those kids who decided to stay home and play video games made that choice themselves. They obviously dont give a damn wether they get candy or not. It sounds like a dumb idea to me. And he might have no candy to enjoy himself.

Oh, cool, you got the email with the little comic strip! No, I think you should make him eat all the candy, get diabetes and bad teeth, file for bankruptcy because you can't afford the healthcare he needs. Ask the state for that taxpayer funded health program, and then John McCain can pay for your mortgage that you defaulted on with taxpayer dollars. How's that sound?

No, and it is not called spreading the wealth to make your child share candy that he got for free.

Well. It's your decision.
The kids did not leave their house.
Why should they get candy for not doing anything
Why don't you ask your kid first.
Maybe he doesn't want to share his candy
Every kid loves halloween and loves their candy.

Why don't you sign the neibhor kids up for welfare while your at it?
Thats stupid.
Even though he didn't really -work- for it.
For a kid. He did.(Considering its halloween.)
If the other kids just sat around your house useing HIS stuff.
Then screw them. Tell them to go get some candy themselves.

Imagine if he worked hard and succeeded in filling his bag to the top?
Then the redistribution starts to get complicated because of the obvious excess "profit."
