How to reduce power/FPS of a gas blow-back airsoft pistol?
I recently purchased a KWC SW40F Sigma CO2 GBB pistol.
It shoots around 410FPS; I need to get it down to ~350 for tournament use. Using .25 pellets will send it down to ~360, but increases the energy released upon a hit; people do not like that...hehe
Any advice?

i had never thought of one of those; the only issue is, I think that the device you mentioned is suited for a rifle, as it looks like it fits around the outside of the barrel; I will need to affix it to a pistol, which will be a bit more difficult
Flying goose, I am not trying to avoid the limit--no matter what ammo i use, 1.4Joules is too much en.
I like CO2 over the other gasses, though, and want finding another gas type to be the last resort.

USING HEAVIER AMMO WILL NOT REDUCE THE POWER.
The power will be the same, the BB will just travel slower as it's heavier. This is why when talking aobut power levels, chronoing is always done with 0.2g ammo.
(Neither does it increase the energy when it hits - it still retains the same enrgy, people just think it's more powerful cos you've told them it's a weaker gun...)
If you're caught using heavier ammo to make your gun appear less powerful, you'll probably be kicked out of the tournament with extreme prejudice. Cheating the chrono is one of the biggest no-no's in the sport.
Ultimately, it's a CO2 pistol, they're pretty much always too powerful for that kinda limit (why you don't really see them in the UK, people can't use 'em anywhere). You need to get a regular GBB pistol for that game, that way you can use other gases to reduce the power for strict limits.
