Hvac service techs, furnace and hot water tank not working after 2 wks of steady rain?

A customer called and said after alot of rain the furnace and the hot water tank don't work. The board on the furnace indicates pressure switch problem but I haven't tested anything yet. I don't know if the basement actually flooded or not but I don't think so. Any ideas?

Sounds like an issue with a gas line.

Flooding could cause the pilots to go out. or damage electric circuits. But it sounds more like a gas problem.

Have they paid their gas bill?

The gas meter may be frozen up if it's cold ice can form around the diaphragm and restrict flow, but this is very rare.
