Teenagers.....(10 pts for great answer)?

look simply judjing teenagers as disasters is a blunder. teenagers in the wrong path can be harmful to the society but still not a disaster. teenagers form the greatest part of the youth and it is the youth who are the mind and muscle of any country. so better education and proper knowledge has to be given to them. it is bcoz of curiosity that they go for drugs and smoking and all stuff but once they learn from their mistakes they wont commit it again. they are the energy resources and too rich in will power and determination. only hing needed is guidance towards right path.

No I think teenagers are the same as always it is just that nowadays they have access to much more bad stuff, such as more dangerous drugs and the fact that sex is more casual. They can't be the disaster of this world because with all the focus on clean energy, recycling and being more tolerant that can only help them be the future leaders of this world. And If they are in fact the disaster of this world, then it's totally the parents' fault since they are the ones raising them.

As everybody is was or will be a teenager its obvious we need them and its a important phase in life.

Teenagers can not be blamed for the worlds disasters the world is to blame and the world is of all ages. Teenagers are not at fault for everything everyone is to blame. And the only way to fix or get over these issues is to realize this. It's a step at solving our disasters. Teenagers are just a simple scapegoat meaning anyone can blame them (ex. drugs alcohol suicide ect. problems) and no one will say it any different. But they are wrong its not teenagers fault that they are prone to these kinds of things. society is to blame for this not teenagers.

No teens are not a disaster. They have raging hormones, conflicting values, uncertain futures to deal with when they are young and mostly ill equipped to deal with it all.

The biggest thing is for the teens to stay away from drugs, smoking, drinking.

And to spend time studying, learning about themselves and the world around them.

And not having intimate relationships until they understand all of the implications involved.

Teens are not a disaster, but there are plenty of disasters out there waiting for them to stubble ... do some reading.

who wrote this book? a pre-teen? because everyone older than that has been a teenager sometime in their life, and that would be ridiculously unfair to put the blame the disasters in this world on teenagers. besides, president bush is the disaster in this world. thank goodness that disaster is almost over.

Mmm, I think teenagers constantly make things harder for adults, thus stressing the adults and perhaps causing bad things to happen indirectly. I hope though, that the teenagers of today will solve the worlds problems, or there probably won't be too many more generations of teenagers, because lets face it, the people who are working on it right now aren't doing such a hot job.

Obviously not, we have our moods but contribute so greatly to the evolution of fashion, style, music etc.

No they aren't. Teenagers might cause mid-term heartache at a local level, but they are not the disaster. ADULTS clearly control everything that happens on this planet and they haven't been doing such a great job lately.

basically, u give any animal such a huge cocktail of hormones (which, lets face it, are just internally made drugs) and body changes that you have absolutely no real preparation, or understanding about, and they are going to go a little bit nutty.

they aren't a disaster, but they sure as hell aren't a blessing either!

I think the way parents give them the tools to be destructive, such as totally unmonitored internet access and 24/7 chat-er-up cellphones is the disaster.
