If Obama can't produce documents for citizenship, should he be allowed to be president?

If the constitution requires it then why doesn't Obama produce the good? What's he got to hide?

The Constitution also sets forth requirements to serve in the Senate, one of which is being a US citizen for at least nine years. Since Obama must, therefore, have proven his citizenship to be seated in the Senate, and nobody is claiming that he is a naturalized citizen, it is clear that he has already produced the necessary documents. So yes, he should be allowed to be President, as there is no reason why he shouldn't be.

    No!

He does not want the truth known. The sudden visit to see the Grandmother he denounced in Hawaii when she was sick might have had other reasons. Look on the internet and see what the governor of Hawaii is saying - totally mum. There is so much cover up going on it is a crime.

The Supreme Court of the US has not ruled on the birth certificate mess. It was filed yesterday in Washington DC but I'm betting that pay offs and pressures as to the embarrassment of having the election go this far without proof would have to be covered up. His Grandmother in Kenya stated that she watched him being born in Kenya.

No, he should not be President because in that case he cannot establish eligibility. However, surely there is some official body he must demonstrate eligibility with, and as long as he shows them, I am happy. Who or what this official body is though I am unsure.

I agree with you we should investigate wrongdoing by the Bush White House and State Department. Issuing US passports to noncitizens is a crime.

Source(s): Obama has a current passport.

    NO

The Berg v. Obama case has been appealed to the Supreme Court.

There is one way to avoid the hassle. Vote for McCain.
