I remember Nixon on Laugh-In (which makes me feel very old).
I don't think an appearance on SNL has the same impact. We have come to expect to see politicians on SNL, on the Daily Show, Jay Leno, the View, David Letterman...it has lost its novelty and won't sway an election one way or another.

I remember Nixon on Laugh-In; he sounded so shocked: "Sock it to ME?" Pretty good comedian, on that occasion.
I don't even know what SNL is. I refuse to pay for TV.

Everyone needs a little laughter in their lives even through tough times. If Obama loses this election and I sure the heck hope he does I will be laughing and that will make me very happy.

After Tuesday night when Obama wins the election the only thing the American people will remember about this comedy act of McCain and Pallin - is that they gave us many real good laughs while they were running around the country helter skelter with their falsehoods and lies!
