Cordovan tires any good?

Does anyone have any experience with Cordovan tires? I am looking at getting a set, but they are so inexpensive I am a little concerned.

    All tires sold new have to meet certain Federal safety standards, but what you get for the money can vary widely. Look for the ratings on the sidewall for tread life, traction and temperature--generally, the higher the number the better--and compare those with other brands and prices. I believe Cordovan tires are from Western Auto, which has been around a long time, so there must be some good points in their favor.
