Cornell Application Question?

On my Cornell application account, it says the SAT has not been received although I sent it out last week after I took the October SAT. Will I be penalized for not having the SATs turned in on time for early decision? The deadline is today Nov 1st.

No, you will not. They will not say "You didn't send the scores in on time, now you won't get in." They understand that the college board takes forever on these things! SAT scores aren't that important in the scheme of things, they will look more at the rest of your profile. If you get an opportunity to get an interview, take it!

My SAT scores didn't get sent on time to the schools I applied to, but I got in anyway, with basically a full ride to three!

Call the admissions office of the college you applied to if you're still really worried.

I'm at Cornell, by the way. Good school, but make sure you're ready to deal with the pressure. And the cold.

EDIT: I did a little cyber -stalking, and I see that you're applying to the College of Egineering! That's where I am, if you have any questions, feel free to talk to me!
