Why won't my Xbox read my games?

if you have other games that you have played before try those to see if your xbox can read them. If those work then go to the store where you got it and say they were defective and get other ones. If it cant read ANY games call 1800-4MYXBOX and see if they can help you over the phone. If not you might have to send it in for repairs. I sent mine (RRoD) and im still waiting to get it back :[

Yeah i had this same problem. what i noticed though is that after about a week of playing the same game, i dont have a problem with that game. when i rent a new game, a brand new, never used game, it wont read it sometimes. i can play about an hour before i get the message saying its dirty. i can always get the game to start working though. my CoD4 works better than fallout 3, and i cant even see my reflection in CoD4's disc. i usually dont get mad because i learn to just save my games frequently. but unfortunitely thats all i can do

Well the only thing I could think of is that the disc reader inside is damaged. Try taking the games to a friends house to see if they work, if they do then it's the xbox itself. Hope this helps, good luck.

my xbox 360 seams to damage the desk after complete the hole game. whats could be the problem

disk drive is unable to read the games. its most likly damaged. get a new one or a ps3
