Well they think they know wrestling they think that John Cena is for kids acting like they know everything there is to know about wrestling.

It's not like they were not kids and liked Hulk Hogan every time he won.

I am not a big fan on Cena but I have respect for the guy because he goes at there every single week and been exhausted.

And he's a nice guy in person I just hate his 5 moves and the girls AND the kids likes him because the same thing we liked Hulk Hogan and Stone Cold-they were recognised as the best in WWF at that time.

People say that because again,think they know wrestling and I am not the biggest fan of Jeff Hardy but I respect him because he risks his body on the line and they just say that because some people had been saying he's not a high-flyer he's a risk-taker they are just going with everybody else is saying to fit in.

When you say "Who's the best wrestler??" it has to be from WWE.

When you say "What's the most prestigious title ever??" they'll say the WWE title or the World Heavyweight Championship.

They don't tend to think any promotion in wrestling thinking everybody in here is a WWE fan.

I respect Vince and whole WWE for taking it to mainstream and the rich history but it's not the best.

They are just used to the cartoon-style wrestling that Vince had made us watch.

Well he's getting all of this not only because of Stephanie but also because he's very marketable.

He could sell the crowd but I do hate it when he always wins that;s why they keep saying that he's a McMahon and he tends to bury every wrestler except Cena and Batista.

But they don't think about his passion in wrestling and if Stephaine marries Funaki do you seriously think Vince would make him 13-time champion??

ECW One Night Stand,Evolution,Edge from Hogan's partner to Rated-R Superstar,Rock N' Sock Reunion,Shawn Michaels and HHH returns,Bret Hart returns to WWE TV.

They never tend to think about it and when they heard about how "great" and "racy" Attitude Era was they would again say these things to fit in.

And they don't think about when they were kids watching Hulk Hogan slamming Andre The Giant or Stone Cold stunning Vince McMahon.

They don't think they were once kids who watched WWF.

I totally disagree with statement. I think the Cena haters are the ones who need to grow up and act their age instead wasting their time finding excuses. In my opinion it's pathetic. As for John Cena's main reason for his popularity is the girls? Well again, if that was the case, just get over it, let the man get laid, and move on. Better yet, stop hating on Cena and get laid yourself. My girlfriend likes John Cena and it's not for his wrestling, but then again there's nothing I can do about it, and me, i respect John Cena for his dedication for this business, and he's helped lots of kids in the Make-a-Wish foundation. And if he gets respect from his peers, why should the fans disrespect him? Makes no sense to me, and its simply pathetic.

Me being a kid myself it's very disrespectful that they give a bad wrap to kids, knowing how most of us grew up watching wrestling. I watched since around 1986.

I disagree with everything said and here's why:

In my opinion, John Cena has worked hard to get to where he is at today. The popularity of wrestler sometimes influences a wrestler's push but in Cena's case it's not true. I doubt Cena became a multi-time champion and measuring stick of the "rising superstar" because of a few girls who marked out for him. Like I said, Cena works hard, he shows initiative, and it looks like he has done all he can to be the very best that the sport of professional wrestling has to offer.

Just another drug reference. Nothing to take to heart. I can name a few ways people can become a Jeff Hardy fan. As a matter of fact, I Jeff Hardy earned the name legend thriller. Over the years he has continued to entertain fans in a way that only he can. He's a veteran in the business, and it's about time for people to stop hating with these one-liner, ignorant, remarks about Jeff Hardy and his fans.

Obviously anybody who says this needs a paradigm shift, and look at what they've been missing outside of WWE. Rightfully so, WWE is seen as the flagship promotion. And if people want to base their opinion on wrestling and WWE off of how much publicity and exposure they get, then that's fine. No need to critisize somebody who hasn't watched any other promotions. But to say that everything else sucks is a biased and unknowledgable statement.

HHH's success doesn't completely come from his marriage to Vince McMahon's daughter. His backstage influence and reputation comes from marrying Stephanie. I truly believe HHH has worked hard. But his attitude towards putting over other wrestlers isn't exactly a positive one. But I've said it before. HHH owes fans and fellow employees nothing. The wrestling business is based off of popularity. Popularity creates paycheck. I think HHH's current position should be motivation for other wrestlers to prove that they can make it to the top without being a McMahon.

The phrase "spreading the wealth" has been used a lot in US politics this year. That's what Vince McMahon wants to do. Wrestling isn't appreciated by the media. Legacy is appreciated by the media. And the only way to gain a legacy is to last a long time. And the only way to last a long time is to cater to everybody that buys your product. It's true that WWE has gone years trying to impress children. If they find that it's a necessary decision then that's what they're going to do. It's not a decision I agree with but it's one I respect. Growing up, making my transition as a internet wrestling fan, I cruised the Attitude Era bandwagon, or almost did. After all what did I know about wrestling? But years later I've learned to appreciate all aspects and form my own opinion about what I like to see. I've always thought that wrestling was meant to be two wrestlers fighting it out for a common goal. WWE has slowly moved away from that. In addition, nobody can tell kids what to watch. But here's a thought. I bet I would enjoy WWE more if most to their income and ratings didn't depend on younger kids who watch. That's an opinion I hold but not one that I use to shun the opinions of other fans.

Triple H wasnt always married to stephanie he had to work his way up in the wwe . . but i do agree the reason he has the title so long this time is because of who he is and who he is married to, i think jeff should be given a shot he has been there a lot longer than a lot of the super stars and has a huge fan reaction.

first, john cena's popularity can't be solely attributed to his female fan base.. for sure, john cena also have his share of male supporters..

2nd, jeff hardy deserves all the attention & admiration that he gets from his fans 'coz he works for it.. he puts his body on the line in a regular basis to provide entertainment to everyone.. & its a matter of choice.. people can chose whom to like & whom to dislike without having to consider the opinion of others..

3rd, everyone has to express their opinion towards someone or something but it isn't necessary to lift up someone or something's reputation in the expense of others.. i mean bashing other wrestling promotions without even seeing what they have in store is nothing but an act of preposterousness or stupidity ..

4th, HHH may have the leverage since he's married to the bosses' unica hija but in a way, he deserves everything that he gets from the wwe since he had worked his way up to the top.. well, he took a shortcut but nonetheless, he's still worthy of all the acclamations & recognitions that's been given to him but the wwe..

5th, if the 2002-present era of wrestling is for kids only, then how would they explain the existence of some sexy segments & tamed down violence in the wwe shows? some aspects of it that were too disturbing for the younger audiences were removed or leveled down but the wwe still have the adult element that would cater to their mature viewers..
