Can anyone tell me this?
What was your federal tax rate under Bush compared to Clinton? Just curious if people actually know what they are paying in taxes. If you don't please google federal tax rate during those administrations to find out for yourself.
Sub prime loans tanked our ecomony, which was pushed and signed by Clinton. Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac were run by Democrats. Look it up. Debt was reduced because of the lowering of capital gaines, which Obama says he will raise.

I honestly don't know, but I am in a completely different tax bracket than I was when Clinton left office.
EDIT
I don't really know what my tax rate was under Clinton because I was married with 3 dependents and I made under $30,000 a year. We usually got back well more than my withholdings when you include Earned Income Credit.
Under Bush I've been single with no dependents and I've made well over $30,000-$40,000 a year. The last few years I've been over $50,000. So in many ways comparing my tax situation under Clinton and Bush is like comparing apples and oranges.

My taxes under Clinton were around $8,400 a year under Bush they were $4,500 a year. That's before I got married.
Wow, I'm surprised that it seems no one actually knows their tax rate differences under Clinton and Bush. That's just sad.

What's more important is how did the economy do under Clinton compared to Bush?
Clinton reduced our national debt. Bush spent all of Clinton's progress and put us in an economic crisis.

Just off the top of my head I know that I pay no more in taxes now than I did then, even though I'm earning a little (not much) more now.

Just would like to say that when clinton was in office, we had a republican majority in congress and in the house. Things just started going downhill 2 years ago when he made the majority of congress democrat and put nancy pelosi in charge.

Why do not you asked who squeezed the public more and squandered the public funds more.Tax rates matter to those who bear the brunt in their kitchens and at shopping malls.
