How do I perform the same function in multiple Excel rows?
I need to add together the values in four non-adjacent columns. If i only needed to do it once, my formula would look like this: =N4+Q4+T4+W4. Thing is, I need to make the same calculation in 354 rows. How do I tell Excel to automatically add the values for cells N, Q, T, and W in each row?

Copy and paste down the column.

You would use that same formula, but you put your mouse in the lower right corner of the cell that contains the formula until it forms a cross then drag the mouse down through your rows.
This will work only if the first equation =N4+Q4+T4+W4 is in a column to the right of all your values. Such as if suppose Z is your last column for your values the equation =N4+Q4+T4+W4 would be in column AA in the first row that you want to add the values.

just copy/paste the formula. Excel will automatically adjust the cell references when you paste them. For example if you highlight the cell with your formula and press <CTRL> C (copy) then go down to the next cell below it and press <CTRL> V (paste), excel will copy the formula and change it to N5+Q5+T5+W5.
To paste multiple versions of it, hold down your <SHIFT> key, then use your arrow keys to scroll down. This will highlight all the rows as your scroll down. Then press <CTRL>V and excel will paste your formula into all the highlighted cells.
