McCain supporters, what has Palin said . . .?
that you wish you could erase?
Maybe the whole Katie Couric interview?
I see that most of you had trouble with the Q/A format. I ask a question. You answer it.

Let's examine what Palin said in that interview. This being the biggest "gaff" that was mocked...Couric: Well, explain to me why that enhances your foreign-policy credentials.
Palin: Well, it certainly does, because our, our next-door neighbors are foreign countries, there in the state that I am the executive of. And there…
Couric: Have you ever been involved in any negotiations, for example, with the Russians?
Palin: We have trade missions back and forth, we do. It's very important when you consider even national security issues with Russia. As Putin rears his head and comes into the air space of the United States of America, where do they go? It's Alaska. It's just right over the border. It is from Alaska that we send those out to make sure that an eye is being kept on this very powerful nation, Russia, because they are right there, they are right next to our state.

Now was Palin surprised by this question...Yup. Was this questioned framed in an argumentative sort of fashion...yup.
So she couldn't think of anything specific.
And so someone expects a governor of a State, like Carter, and Clinton and Reagan to have "international" political experience?
Okay...so she made a weak argument here without being prepped.
What about the fact that the other team makes these sort of gaffs in prepared speeches...talking about spreading the wealth around...etc.
Is foreign policy experience a key benefit of a V.P., or perhaps should the president have some and the VP have less?
Anyone who has spoken frequently in public can say things unprepared that don't come out right. Don't you think with some foresight of the question, she could have had a better answer?
Is she not forced in a nationally televised interview to come up with something? If you're a busy person and someone on a dime expects you to recite a few times you dealt with someone else regarding something like that, are you ALWAYS going to be able to do it?
If obama gets a pass for his communist and anti-american friends, she should get a pass for a bad interview. Is anyone suggesting she is unintelligent? Her success is by accident? She governs a state for god sake, and it wasn't by phenomenon, it was by being respected as a leader in other areas and getting the people behind her. Someone REALLY FAST...name me something obama has done to help the country...even faster...name me something Biden has done....
Now you can appreciate Palin's position in this interview...
