What a rediculous question. People are more than 2D tabloid characters, so how can I pass an opinion on the vastness of a human being?

My view as gleaned from what I have read about him...

Crowley was - at times - immature, very egotistical and a little confused. He also was extremely clever and left quite a legacy on earth in terms of influence (everything from the Beatles and Madonna to Scientology).

Edit - Pastor Biker: That has to be the most rediculous answer I have ever read on Y!A.

Aleister Crowley Is the prophet of the New Aeon. What he predicted has happened. Further more, after Jesus, the prophet of the last Aeon, died he became worshipped as a God. Crowley made sure this didn't happen by making sure to have personality flaws. He also hid the truth within complex language, QBLH, and dirty puns. If one is too stupid to know what it means when Crowley says he "sacrifices hundreds of white children of above average intelligence every day" then they aren't ready for the knowledge he imparts.

Read "Magick in Theory in Practice." There is no better treatise written.

He basically made up a whole bunch of rituals and stuff. Sounded like a fun eccentric person to know, but seemed to take himself a bit too seriously.

He was searching for truth, but was mixed up in the end of the whole 'theosophy' thing and his ego got the better of him.

    I love him!!

    =D

I especially like some of his books e.g. "The Book of the Law," "Diary of a Drug Fiend," "Thoth," as well as the "Thoth Tarot" that he and Lady Freida Harris designed.

as for the first guy, he wasn't Christian!

but for me, he is one of my Idols, and, he is ******* awesome! I love the Occult!

I would have also loved to been in his time so I can try the maze! lest there is still a way to do it, it is practically gone.
