How is McCain's economic policy any different from George bush's? ?

bush's plan was to give tax breaks and incentives to companies. was in theory that the ney saved by the companies would then trickle down to the workers. the workers would then spend more creating more revenue and taxes.

the problem is the companies dont pass the benefit down instead it stayed in their bottom line. in an attempt to make their comapny more impressive to investors..

i'm curious how is this plan any different from what john mccain is proposing? why are we to think it will suddenly start working?

Well what you are forgetting is that Bush's policy is giving breaks to big time companies...Like the oil companies and McCains is giving tax breaks to the average business owner. To help out the poor to middle class and not just the people who are rich. John McCain is also going to help out the working man more than bush ever did....It will work because like I said it will be businesses like the ones that you see down town, that don't really need investors...Just the average america that is struggling and about to go under instead of people that already make millions...

MCCain fought with Bush consistently over spending for the period of the previous 8 years. we can in no way get issues under administration interior the U. S. till and till we administration spending and reform government and Bush did no longer try this as he had promised. McCain and Palin will. Obama has promised to extend the two spending and the dimensions of government. that's in basic terms no longer "greater of an identical" under Obama. it may be worse!!!! the only factor that counts now could be that all of us comprehend that there became right into a important subject with sub-best mortgages that must be INVESTIGATED. that's glaring that the Democrats have been in touch in it too. Dodd and Obama the two won massive contributions from Fannie and Freddie. Frank and the Democrats interior the homestead blocked efforts to inspect Fannie time and time returned. If the two the administrative branch and CONGRESS are interior an identical occasion, we can in no way have an entire learn. we ought to consistently have DIVIDED government or we can in no way unravel this.

Well, first of all, Bush's "plan" was interrupted by democrats being voted in to the congress and house. Yes, the "trickle down" effect would work if given some time. Yes, business want to improve their bottom line, isn't that what people are in business for: to make money? Why would you stay in business if you have to pay out more than you make? Think about it. If you are a business owner and you make great money and you want to keep making money, you would pay your people to stay because they are the reason. Now, you wouldn't pay your employees more than yourself, or so much that you would not make a profit. When the choice between paying employees or taxes, well the government really couldn't care less about your employees, now would they? So, if you have to pay more taxes, then you have to cut employees. If you don't have to pay as much tax, then you can afford to hire employees. And pay should be based on individual effort, knowledge and ability to do the job, NOT fairness. There is no such thing as fairness in life.

The plans are the same old Reaganomics and the party needs new ideas that are relevant in today's global economy. And to get away from the same old tired scare tactics.
