Can you impeach a president for not standing for the National Anthem?

Obama is NOT the president (and won't be, I hope). And NO, a president cannot be impeached for not standing for the National Anthem BUT if he doesn't respect the American flag enough to stand and face it (like an honorable person), then he doesn't belong in the White House! A president swears or affirms to

support the Constitution of the United States and to defend our country from all enemies, foreign or domestic. Obama is, in my opinion, a domestic enemy.

Can you impeach a president for starting an unnecessary war, running huge deficits and allowing banks to start a recession? Apparently not.

Impeachment is a penalty for "high crimes and misdemeanors," like getting a b-job. It does not cover the pledge of alleigance, which no one over the age of 10 takes seriously.

He should never get elected to office in the first place. My motto is - if you don't love this country and are not proud of it and stand in allegiance to it then its real simple - BYE!! Some of us still love our country and still believe in what it was originally founded on.

He can be impeached for whatever the House of Representatives wants to impeach him for.

No, it's not a crime. What makes you think you can get a president for crimes that aren't crimes? That's what impeached means

To get charges pressed that stand up in court.

Now that would be dumb wouldn't it. If we came to be a nation so stupid as to impeach someone for nothing, then we really have sunk below the sewer line.
